The Counseling Center at Huckleberry House — Help navigating even the most difficult life stressors

If you and/or your family are dealing with life transitions, family conflict, difficulty with academics, interpersonal relationship issues, past trauma, and/or grief, you’re not alone. Life is challenging and everyone needs help navigating it at times. And the good news is, we are here to help. The Counseling Center at Huckleberry House specializes in working with teens, young adults, and families to identify strengths, develop coping skills, and to work through the challenges life throws at you. Counseling looks different for everyone. We help you identify the areas you would like to work on, we go at your pace, and work together to help you make short-term and long-term changes in order to accomplish your goals.

          Please note that we are unable to accept any used clothing items.

General Supplies

  • Composition notebooks/journals
  • Adult coloring books

  • Art supplies
  • “Smell goods” (i.e. Bath & Body Works)

Toiletries and Hygiene Products

  • Deodorant
  • Shampoo and conditioner*

    The * denotes that the item must be in a full size bottle.

Misellaneous Items

  • Baby items

  • Solid color twin comforters and sheet sets

  • Non-perishable food items for youth outreach (crackers, cup of soup, fruit snacks, chips)
  • Gift cards from $5 to $25 for fast food restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations
